Soon after he was dropped from the Indian Team for Singer Cup Tournament in Sri Lanka in the mid-90s, Sanjay Manjrekar published an album of Hindi Songs titled
REST DAY.... ...in a TV promo, with a straight face, he complained that BCCI had not done the right thing by dropping a singer for the Singer Cup
